Techsave Benelux extends partnership with Danish Techsave for 5 more years

Techsave Benelux has announced the extension of its partnership with the Danish company Techsave for an additional five years. This partnership allows Techsave Benelux to continue operating its Techsave Service Center in the Benelux region, where it specializes in repairing liquid damage in electronics—a service often met with skepticism but proven effective in practice. Despite the initial reluctance of manufacturers to repair liquid damage, it is increasingly recognized as a viable and sustainable way to extend the lifespan of electronic devices.

Specialists in liquid damage repair

Since joining the Techsave partnership in 2021, Techsave Benelux has established itself as a leading expert in liquid damage repair for electronics. The company has leveraged its partnership to promote Techsave's innovative technology across the Netherlands, actively participating in trade shows and events to highlight the importance of liquid damage repair. This proactive approach has led to several successful partnerships and a growing customer base, including collaborations with prominent companies such as insurers Univé, ZLM, Harmony, a.s.r., and The Rent Company.

Unique and environmentally friendly technology

Techsave’s proprietary cleaning process is, according to the company, a game-changer in the repair market. The patented cleaning machine can efficiently restore up to 80% of liquid-damaged smartphones and laptops in just three hours. This technology not only prevents devices from being discarded but also has a significant environmental impact. By extending the life of these devices, Techsave’s solution reduces CO2 emissions by avoiding the production of new laptops and smartphones. For instance, saving a single laptop from liquid damage can prevent 386 kg of CO2 emissions—equivalent to 11 days of energy consumption in an average household or 15 hours of continuous driving.

Assurance for Techsave customers

In addition to offering an innovative repair solution, Techsave provides customers with peace of mind by assuming the otherwise voided product warranty. Typically, smartphones and laptops come with a 24-month product warranty, which becomes invalid if the device suffers liquid damage. However, if a device is successfully cleaned by Techsave’s machine, the company takes over the original product warranty, maintaining coverage for up to 24 months from the original purchase date. This means that end-users remain protected, even after their device has experienced damage.

Future of Techsave Benelux

Nico van Vendeloo, the founder of Techsave Benelux, expressed his enthusiasm for the extended partnership, stating, “The continuation of this partnership supports our own sustainability goals as well as those of our partners. Our liquid recovery solutions will become the new standard for saving mobile electronic devices in the most sustainable way possible.”
