French trade-in enabler Comparecycle secures top EcoVadis Platinum Award

Comparecycle has proudly achieved the prestigious EcoVadis Platinum Medal, placing the company among the top 1% of organizations recognized for exceptional sustainability practices. This accolade underscores Comparecycle’s strong commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) excellence and highlights its leadership in the refurbished and trade-in electronics sector.

Founded in 2011 and led by Gaël Brouard, Comparecycle has some big European trade-in customs. This certificate reflects the efforts of Comparecycle’s team, its partners, and loyal customers, who have supported the company's sustainability initiatives over the past 18 months.

Earlier in the year, Ingram Micro, a major global distributor of hardware and software, also received the EcoVadis Platinum Medal. This recognition affirms Ingram Micro’s commitment to responsible business practices and effective ESG performance. John Marler, Director of Global ESG at Ingram Micro, noted that this milestone is a testament to the company's dedicated global team and its robust ESG strategy.

EcoVadis evaluates companies based on four key categories: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Alongside Comparecycle and Ingram Micro, NEG-IT Solutions, part of the Circular IT group backed by venture capital firm Waterland, also achieved the platinum rating, demonstrating its commitment to a sustainable IT sector.
