Finnish refurbished tech provider Swappie is expanding beyond smartphones and has added refurbished iPads to its online store. Customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany can now purchase refurbished tablets directly from the company’s European platform Swappie applies the same in-house refurbishing process to iPads as it does for Apple iPhones. All devices are processed in Swappie’s facility in Estonia and go through a 52-step quality check. Each Apple iPad is tested, professionally cleaned, and, when necessary, repaired using high-grade components. This ensures consistent performance, reliability, and battery health, according to the company. An important move for Swappie as this more niche product group gives them the possibility to increase margin.
