Samsung USA launches Certified Re-Newed Galaxy Z series

Samsung USA has added the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 to its Certified Re-Newed program for the first time. Available exclusively at Samsung.com, these models provide consumers with a cost-effective entry into Samsung’s foldable technology, combining style, performance and sustainability.

A like-new experience with full warranty

Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed devices undergo servicing by Samsung specialists, are fitted with 100% genuine Samsung parts including a certified new battery and are backed by a one-year manufacturer warranty. This ensures buyers receive a like-new experience at a reduced price while supporting more sustainable technology use.

Part of Samsung’s broader sustainability strategy

By expanding its Certified Re-Newed program to include foldable devices, Samsung is reinforcing its commitment to reuse, extending product lifespans, and contributing to a more circular electronics market in the United States. The company’s trade-in operations are closely coordinated with Apkudo for triage, processing, and grading, and with B-Stock for reselling refurbished units. This step positions Samsung alongside Apple’s certified pre-owned initiative, signaling a stronger focus by the Korean manufacturer on the secondary mobile market. That focus extends beyond the USA and South Korea to the UK, Europe, and other global regions.
