Samsung Electronics Canada has announced the launch of its Independent Service Provider (ISP) Program to strengthen the availability and accessibility of certified mobile device repair services. The new initiative aims to expand Samsung’s out-of-warranty repair network across Canada by partnering with qualified independent repair providers, allowing them to offer Samsung-authorized services using official parts and certified technicians.
More certified locations across Canada
The ISP Program will boost the number of authorized service locations for Galaxy devices throughout the country. By allowing local partners to join Samsung’s repair ecosystem, the company expects to reduce waiting times and improve customer access to trustworthy repair services. These repairs will be conducted by CTIA WISE-certified technicians, ensuring compliance with the industry’s highest repair standards.
WISE certification assures repair quality
The CTIA’s Wireless Industry Service Excellence (WISE) program has been adopted as the technical standard in Samsung’s ISP network. WISE-certified technicians and locations guarantee quality control in diagnostics, repairs and customer handling. With over 24,000 WISE-certified professionals globally, Samsung’s investment in this certification underscores its commitment to quality assurance in mobile service delivery.
Support for the Canadian repair economy
Frank Martino, Vice President of Service at Samsung Electronics Canada, emphasized the dual benefit of the program. It not only improves the repair experience for Samsung customers but also strengthens local businesses. Enrollment is now open to independent providers across Canada who meet Samsung’s training and certification criteria.
Expansion model follows US rollout
The Canadian ISP program mirrors a similar effort in the United States, where Samsung added over 300 Cell Phone Repair (CPR) by Assurant locations in 2024. With more than 400 CPR stores now in the network and over 900 total sites in the Assurant Repair Network, Samsung is scaling its service infrastructure. All CPR technicians in both countries are WISE-certified.
