RefurbisherBreezy, part of Cyprus-based IT distributor ASBIS, has now made its servicesand products available in Azerbaijan. This step means that customers in, yetanother country can benefit from Breezy’s services aimed at promoting thecircular economy by extending the lifespan of devices. The company performs afull cycle of gadget reuse, from offering trade-in services to processingdevices in their own production facilities and selling these used andrefurbished devices. Furthermore, products that cannot be given a second lifeduring processing are safely recycled.
Azerbaijan is the seventh country for Breezy

Our vision includes establishing a full cycle with our own production facilities for electronics grading and renovation, as well as omni channel sales. Ramil Mukhtarovwill lead Breezy's operations development in Azerbaijan. He has worked in leadership positions in electronics retail for ten years. In 2017, he joined the ASBIS Azerbaijan team. "I have been working in electronics retail for over ten years, and Breezy's idea of extending the lifecycle of gadgets genuinely appeals to me. This approach helps reduce the ecological footprint of electronics and makes modern top technology more accessible to users. I am very excited to be part of such an ambitious team, and I am confident that together we will achieve excellent results," emphasized Ramil Mukhtarov.
Offices in seven countries and about 200 employees
Breezy now has offices in seven countries: Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine, and employs about 200 people. The company is the largest trader of used devices through retailers and telecom companies in the region and a major player in the regional secondary smartphone market. Breezy's portfolio of partners includes over 40 leading retail chains and telecom companies, such as Orange, Vodafone, kcell, and suppliers (Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Honor).
Grading and processing
The grading and processing of traded-in gadgets take place in Breezy's production facilities, with the largest opened in Poland in 2023. This automated and robotized facility, with an area of about 1,000 m², ensures high speed and quality of device restoration. The production facility has three ISO quality certifications: quality management system ISO 9001, environmental impact reduction system ISO 14001, and information security management system ISO27001. Last year, Breezy gave 160,000 phones a second life, which, according toBreezy, reduced CO2 emissions by 12,640 tons. Additionally, end-users received$20 million back through the various trade-in programs.
