Finish OptoFidelity Group has appointed two new CEOs to lead its Finnish and American divisions. This move reflects the company’s strategy to streamline global operations, automated processing and grading of used devices and support large-scale manufacturing for AR smart glasses.
R&D operations to expand in Finland
Hans Kuosmanen, formerly Chief Production Officer, has been with OptoFidelity for 18 years. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening R&D capabilities at the company’s Tampere headquarters and enhancing global product delivery. Kuosmanen also played a key role in launching the company's optics production facility in Zhuhai, China.
Wei Wang brings Apple experience

Departing CEO praised for legacy
Former CEO Lasse Lepistö departs after five years at the helm and 18 years with the company. He is credited with leading the business through major phases of innovation and growth. Both new leaders praised Lasse Lepistö’s vision and confirmed the company’s mission remains unchanged.
Global expansion of AR metrology
OptoFidelity continues to position itself as a crucial partner for AR smart glasses manufacturers and automated used devices processing and grading bridging, the gap between design and large-scale production. The leadership shift aims to support that transition from lab innovation to volume manufacturing, combining Finnish R&D with global operations.
