Philadelphia-based Mobile Outfitters has merged with Vasco Group and Studio Group, its two largest European distributors. The combined company will integrate product development, manufacturing, sales, and distribution while continuing to focus on on-demand screen protection for mobile devices such as the Apple iPhone.
Global teams join forces
The merger creates a unified structure across four continents, with more than 50 employees in 10 countries. The organization now manages the full product lifecycle in-house, from design and production in Philadelphia to customer delivery in local markets. This setup improves efficiency, optimizes logistics, and ensures product availability closely matches customer needs.
Leadership takes shape
Co-founders Eric Griffin and Dennis O’Donnell will continue in their roles, focusing on marketing and product development. Erin Perloff remains Chief Financial Officer, while new owners Mike Bissell and Cyril Montanari, previously of Vasco Group, take on positions as Chief Sales Officer and Chief Executive Officer.
A strong market ambition
“The exceptional quality of our products and our people deserves to lead the market,” said CEO Cyril Montanari. “By uniting our forces globally, we’re making MO unstoppable. The time has come to step into the spotlight.”
Sustainability through on-demand production
Mobile Outfitters emphasizes the sustainability of its on-demand system. Screen protectors are only cut when needed, eliminating excess inventory and reducing waste. With a vast database of smartphone screens, including Apple iPhones, the right protector is always available. This approach prevents products from becoming obsolete and adds an eco-friendly edge to the business model.
A competitive landscape at IFA
During IFA Berlin, other companies will also present on-demand solutions. Panzerglass and ScreenAmor are expected to introduce each their own cut-on-demand glass instead of film screen protection methods. ScreenArmor’s approach differs as well by using recycled glass with GRS certificated, adding another environmentally conscious alternative for the market.
