Norwegian-based recommerce company Moorup Europe has officially rebranded as Loopefy AS. According to the company, the new identity better represents its expanding role in product lifecycle management and reverse logistics. “We want the name to match our vision,” a spokesperson stated.
Core focus remains product lifecycle
Loopefy continues to offer its core services in reverse logistics, resale, and distribution. It works with business partners across Europe to maximise the lifecycle value of products. This includes streamlining product returns, enabling resale, and supporting the circular economy. The company also expanded its portfolio to include fashion-related accessories, now offered alongside its tech products.
Bashar Nejdawi joins as chairman
As part of its rebranding momentum, Loopefy has appointed telecom veteran Bashar Nejdawi as chairman of the board. Nejdawi brings decades of experience to the role. His career includes leadership positions at PCS Wireless (COO), Ingram Micro (EVP), BrightPoint (SVP), and a 17-year tenure at Motorola Mobile Devices.
Strong board with circular expertise
Bashar Nejdawi’s current roles include board membership at Device-as-a-Service firm Cyculus and senior advisor to repair and refurbishment specialist Ecotec. Loopefy expects his experience in telecom and device circulation to boost its pan-European strategy and further professionalize its business.
New name, same strong team
Despite the name change, the company emphasised that its team and service level remain unchanged. “It’s the same great people, same great support—just with a new look,” the company stated. The rebranding and leadership change signal Loopefy’s ambition to grow as a trusted circular partner across Europe.
