Lenovo has strengthened its environmental strategy by partnering with Rejoose, an IT carbon data platform. The collaboration marks the first structured partnership between a global IT hardware manufacturer and Rejoose, allowing direct integration of product-level carbon emissions data across Lenovo’s entire portfolio. The partnership is designed to help organizations make more transparent and data-driven procurement decisions, advancing their net-zero objectives with greater precision
Rejoose leads in carbon data accuracy
Rejoose, known for their comprehensive and validated source of IT carbon data, plays a central role in improving the accuracy of environmental reporting. Through direct data exchange, Lenovo’s emissions data will now be automatically syndicated through Rejoose’s platform. This integration will streamline the delivery of reliable carbon information for end-users, vendors, and channel partners.
For Lenovo customers, this means faster and easier access to verified carbon data during the purchasing process. It allows companies to evaluate both financial and environmental impacts in real time, reducing the administrative burden of annual sustainability audits.
Supporting net-zero goals through transparency
By offering clear and verified carbon information at the point of purchase, Lenovo is addressing one of the most significant demands in sustainable IT procurement. The partnership supports companies in reaching net-zero targets by providing measurable, product-specific emissions data, helping them make procurement decisions aligned with sustainability goals.
This collaboration also enhances Lenovo’s standing as a vendor committed to measurable climate action, while reinforcing Rejoose’s mission to drive industry-wide integration of transparent carbon reporting.
Expanding verified carbon data coverage
The integration boosts Rejoose’s direct data coverage of technology products from 3% to 11%. This increase significantly reduces the need for manual data collection and AI-generated estimates, offering users a faster and more reliable overview of their IT-related carbon footprint.
“Transparency is key to driving meaningful climate action,” said Virginie Le Barbu, Global Sustainability Director, International Markets at Lenovo. “By partnering with Rejoose, we’re equipping our customers with the carbon insights they need to accelerate their journey toward net-zero.”
Matthew Ruskin, Chief Commercial Officer of Rejoose, added, “This collaboration reflects Lenovo’s continued leadership in addressing climate challenges through data transparency. By automating access to validated carbon data, we’re helping organisations make smarter purchasing decisions, whether that’s reducing carbon cost, improving environmental credentials, or aligning IT procurement with broader transformation goals.”
