The Global mobile Suppliers Association (GSA) has renewed its partnership with CCS Insight for another five years, extending the agreement until 2030. This continuation builds on a successful collaboration established in 2022, with CCS Insight remaining the exclusive research provider for GSA. GSA provides data and reports on the latest advancements in the global mobile sector, covering areas such as spectrum auctions, network rollouts, and emerging technologies. Its GAMBoD database delivers in-depth analysis on topics like fixed wireless access (FWA), private mobile networks, standards, and spectrum trends. GSA Members and Associates can access the full database, while free executive summary reports are available online.
Enhancing the GAMBoD database
The extended agreement with CCS Insight aims to further develop the GAMBoD database, improving functionality, data depth, and industry coverage. The six GAMBoD databases cover devices, spectrum assignments, public & private networks, chipsets and details on mobile operators globally. The databases are updated monthly or quarterly, and summary and member industry reports are published based on this data.
The database currently includes extensive details such as:
- Over 29,000 LTE and 5G devices
- Over 3,800 public networks
- Over 1,400 network operators
- Over 1,600 private network customers
- Over 400 chipsets
- Over 9,100 spectrum assignments
- Over 160 spectrum auctions tracked since 2021
- Over $51 billion worth of spectrum assignments since 2022
