Ruggedized smartphone manufacturer Crosscall highlights 100% French refurbishment strategy

Crosscall, the rugged smartphone manufacturer, has made domestic refurbishment a key element of its sustainability strategy. For over a decade, the French brand has collaborated with electronics repair specialist Cordon Group to recondition its devices in France. This long-term partnership ensures full local control over quality, expertise and traceability.

A controlled and technical workflow

Crosscall uses an industrial-level process at its certified repair centre. The workflow is structured into five key stages and includes 35 technical inspection points. The focus is on restoring each device to the brand's core standards of waterproofness, durability and performance, which are essential to Crosscall’s DNA.

Manufacturer parts and full warranty

All refurbished Crosscall smartphones are restored using original manufacturer components. Devices come with a two-year warranty, which covers waterproof performance, one of Crosscall’s trademarks. This approach ensures users receive a highly functional product with no compromise on reliability or technical integrity.

Local and sustainable revaluation

The company underlines that revaluation is 100% French. Beyond giving the smartphones a second life, Crosscall frames refurbishment as a new beginning—technologically robust, locally anchored, and environmentally aware. This strategy aligns with the increasing demand for durable and sustainable tech options in Europe.
