Foxway and Samsung Electronics Germany are extending their partnership to refurbished mobile devices. Building on a history of cooperation in trade-in and rental services, the expanded collaboration aims to ensure Samsung devices reintroduced to the market meet top-tier quality standards and extended longevity after refurbishment. Foxway and Samsung will work together to refurbish devices using genuine Samsung spare parts while strictly adhering to Samsung’s repair guidelines. Continuous training and compliance with these standards will further improve the quality of second-life Samsung devices in Europe.
Cooperation emphasize reliability
Mikkel Frid, President of Recommerce Mobiles at Foxway, highlights the importance of high standards: “Circular tech is only truly effective when it meets high standards of quality, reliability, and accessibility. With this strengthened partnership, we’re taking a significant step forward in ensuring that refurbished Samsung devices set a new benchmark in the industry.”
Boosting consumer trust and sustainability
The strengthened partnership emphasizes Samsung’s and Foxway’s focus on delivering smartphones that align with the highest quality requirements. By reusing components in accordance with the WEEE directive, the collaboration also enhances sustainability efforts. Direct access to original Samsung spare parts improves efficiency, while following Samsung’s technical repair instructions ensures reliability, consumer trust, and scalability. Andreas Beck, Vice President Service at Samsung Electronics Germany, stresses the importance of strong alliances in the secondary market: “Circularity in the mobile industry requires strong partnerships. By working more closely with Foxway, we’re ensuring that more devices get a second life—without compromising on quality or user experience.”
