Swedish Foxway has launched its advanced automated warehouse system at its largest processing center in Tartu, Estonia. Originally built in 2022 with automation in mind, the facility is now redefining efficiency in the refurbished mobile industry. In 2022, Foxway processed 1.5 million devices. By the end of 2023, this number had grown to nearly 2.4 million. With this upward trend, the company projects processing over five million devices within the next five years in Tartu alone.
Automation driving efficiency and scale
To sustain this rapid growth, automation plays a crucial role. The new system enables faster processing, reduces errors, and increases capacity to handle multiple device sales orders simultaneously. These advancements position Foxway as an industry leader in efficiency and scalability.
Innovation and accuracy at the core
“Scaling up circular solutions requires both innovation and efficiency. With automation, we’re not just processing more devices—we’re ensuring accuracy and speed while reducing complexity,” said Oliver Kotkas, Operations Director at Foxway. The in-house engineering expertise behind this system integrates world-class hardware and software to set new industry benchmarks.

Enhancing operations with in-house expertise
Foxway’s decision to develop custom automation solutions in-house ensures operational flexibility and adaptability to evolving market demands. This approach not only strengthens efficiency but also maintains Foxway’s leadership in circular technology.

Future investments in automation
With further automation initiatives already underway, Foxway remains committed to advancing the circular tech industry. By continuously improving its systems, the company is shaping the future of sustainable device processing.
