Foxway has announced the appointment of Sara Lindstrand as its new Chief Sustainability Officer, marking a significant step in the company’s effort to deepen its sustainability strategy. The Swedish circular tech provider, known as one of Europe’s largest sustainable resellers, aims to reinforce its long-term commitment to reducing environmental impact across the tech lifecycle.
Experience shaped by sustainability
Sara Lindstrand joins Foxway from AFRY, where she served as Head of Sustainability and helped shape the firm’s strategic framework for environmental and social governance. Her background spans technical engineering, sustainability transformation, and digitalisation. This combination is expected to support Foxway’s ambition to strengthen its position within Europe’s circular tech sector.
Focus on circular technology growth
Foxway CEO Patrick Höijer highlighted her appointment as an opportunity to accelerate the company’s progress in circular solutions, emphasising her blend of leadership and technical capability. According to Höijer, amplifying the circular tech agenda will be an important part of the company’s roadmap as it continues to scale its refurbishment and reuse operations, which include devices such as the Apple iPhone and a range of enterprise hardware.
Strong governance and integration
Lindstrand’s experience includes embedding sustainability across business operations and enforcing governance structures that support ESG alignment. At Foxway, she is expected to steer both strategic planning and hands on implementation, ensuring sustainability remains central to commercial growth and operational execution.
Building thought leadership and culture
Foxway recognises Lindstrand’s previous success in elevating thought leadership inside and outside her organisations. The company believes her people centred leadership style will help strengthen internal engagement while supporting external credibility. This is increasingly important as circular tech companies navigate supply chain demands, product quality expectations, and regulatory changes across Europe.
Commitment to long term impact
Lindstrand stated that she is motivated to contribute to Foxway’s mission of enabling digitalisation that benefits people and businesses while minimising environmental impact. She noted the importance of scaling sustainable impact alongside profitable growth, aligning with Foxway’s focus on extending device lifecycles, reducing waste, and improving resource efficiency.
Start date confirmed for 2026
Lindstrand will assume her new role on March 2, 2026, giving Foxway time to align organisational structures and prepare for the next phase of its sustainability strategy. The company expects her arrival to support long term development across refurbishment, recovery, and reuse operations throughout Europe.
