From 5 to 7 November 2025, Dublin became the centre of global IT hardware trading. The 21st European Broker Meeting (EBM), organised by The Broker Site, brought together more than 1,000 professionals from across the IT ecosystem at the Clayton Hotel Burlington. The event confirmed its role as the leading annual meeting point for IT traders, refurbishers, and service providers worldwide.
Global collaboration and record participation
This year’s edition set new records in both scale and diversity. Participants from Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America engaged in intensive meetings, negotiations, and collaborations that underscored the increasingly international nature of the secondary IT market. An expanded exhibition and a strong Tech Talks programme created a dynamic environment for business and knowledge exchange, blending commerce, innovation, and community.

Tech Talks inspire innovation
Moderated by SecondaryMarket.news, the 17 Tech Talks featured industry leaders exploring topics such as data erasure, used device sales, and compliance trends. These sessions encouraged open discussion and shared learning, offering fresh insights into how technology reuse is transforming global IT and mobile markets. The high engagement from attendees demonstrated the sector’s growing focus on innovation and transparency.

Business and community connection
Networking remained at the heart of the event. The introduction of the Captain’s Dinner and an energetic farewell party added a personal touch to the business-driven agenda. Informal meetings, shared meals, and evening receptions fostered new partnerships and strengthened long-term relationships within the IT trading community.

Looking ahead to Portugal 2026
Building on Dublin’s success, The Broker Site announced that the next European Broker Meeting will take place in Southern Portugal from 21 to 23 October 2026. With rising global participation and a growing focus on sustainable IT solutions, EBM 2026 aims to reach new heights as the world’s premier gathering for the secondary IT industry.
