Danish accessory brand dbramante1928, known for its sustainable approach, has become the exclusive supplier of all charging accessories for EE, one of the UK’s largest mobile networks. The agreement follows the brand’s existing role as the main supplier of phone protection products to EE.
Charging accessories are made with recycled materials
Since 2024, dbramante1928 has supplied recycled phone cases and screen protectors for EE’s Minute One bundles. Building on this success, EE has now appointed the company to supply 100% recycled and recyclable charging cables and chargers. This ensures that every accessory sold in EE’s stores and online channels is designed with environmental responsibility in mind.
EE aligns with its circular 2030 goal
By adopting fully recycled materials across charging and most phone protection products, EE becomes one of the first mobile operators globally to set category-wide sustainability standards. The move directly supports EE’s ambition to make all products, networks and operations circular by 2030.
Environmental benefits extend across the supply chain
Dbramante1928 not only designs accessories with recycled materials but also runs a free e-waste take-back program, allowing customers to recycle old tech responsibly. In addition, the company reduces CO2e emissions across its supply chain and has net-zero targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). These efforts amplify the environmental benefits of longer-lasting devices protected by high-quality cases and accessories.
dBramante1928 on the cooperation with EE
"By appointing dbramante1928 as the sole supplier of charging accessories, EE is advancing its commitment to reduce the environmental impacts of everyday tech," said Ben Glimmerveen, representatiing dbramante1928. "It’s about partnering with like-minded companies dedicated to environmental responsibility and providing quality products consumers can trust. That’s how we change the industry for the better, and that’s exactly what EE is leading."

A new industry standard for responsibility
EE’s choice reflects a shift towards embedding sustainability into the supply chain rather than leaving responsibility to consumers. By partnering with dbramante1928, EE is making environmentally responsible products the default option. This positions the company as a leader in aligning customer convenience with environmental responsibility in the telecom sector.
