After launching its REbox trade-in terminals in flagship Orange stores in Paris and Lyon, Dipli reports strong initial results. Developed by GET-RE and fully customised by Dipli, the terminal will now be deployed in additional Orange locations as part of a wider strategy to accelerate smartphone circularity across France. Within just one month, the system has already processed hundreds of devices.
Hundreds of devices already assessed
In just a few weeks, hundreds of smartphones have already been evaluated through the self-service REbox terminals. Customers drop their device into the machine, which uses AI and high-resolution imaging to assess the phone’s condition from all angles. Within four minutes, a real-time resale price is generated, powered by Dipli’s pricing engine.

REbox delivers detailed diagnostics
The REbox terminal also offers a unique customer experience. After the test, users can receive a personalised diagnostic report by SMS, including test results and images of their own device. This level of transparency appears to be resonating with Orange customers, encouraging broader participation in the trade-in program.
As of now, the REbox terminal supports 1,667 smartphone models. This broad compatibility ensures that a wide range of devices can be diagnosed and priced on the spot, significantly boosting the usefulness and scalability of the trade-in solution across Orange France’s expanding store network.

Dipli and GET-RE enable faster scaling
Dipli, already behind Orange France’s existing trade-in platform, customised the entire user journey, from UX design to diagnostics. GET-RE built the physical terminals in Poland. Thanks to this collaboration, Orange has been able to scale the pilot quickly and integrate the terminals into its new generation “Le Store” concepts. More store locations are set to follow in the coming months.
