American’s company CypherBlk, supplier of processing software for secondary market, is excited to announce the release of TimeShield v4.0, a new smartwatch processing solution. This release introduces, according to the company, significant enhancements to both the front-end interface and the management dashboard. These updates are designed to improve functionality, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall user experience, ensuring robust data security and operational efficiency. With TimeShield an operator in a production facility can process up to 20 Apple Watches or watches running on Android Wear at the same time. And this is quite unique as processing of smartwatches in a facility always has been a big challenge and extremely time consuming. TimeShield could be a solution to streamline industrial smartwatch processing even further.
Support for Android WearOS 5
TimeShield v4.0 offers full compatibility with devices running Android WearOS 5, ensuring comprehensive processing capabilities, enhanced data security, and adherence to compliance standards. In the graphical user interface (GUI), product codes for Android devices are now prominently displayed in device detail pop-ups. This enhancement provides quick access to crucial information about Android devices.
Expanded Apple Watch Support
Users can access comprehensive details for each Apple Watch model (S3-S9, Ultra, SE), facilitating better inventory management and disposition. The solution now includes industry-standard data sanitization processes, ensuring secure repair, redeployment, or recycling of devices. Backup methods are in place to guarantee successful data erasure, and the interface has been enhanced for a smoother processing experience with Apple devices. Real-time connection monitoring for Apple devices allows for improved visibility and operational control, enabling better device management. The native identification of FMiP status for Apple Watches ensures that devices are processed correctly for reuse.
Improvement processing smartwatches
Anyone working in the trade-in and processing of smartwatches knows the numerous challenges associated with fast and efficient product handling. Traditionally, this involved a manual data wipe, followed by a factory reset, in addition to a thorough physical inspection. However, with TimeShield, a significant shift occurs, enabling proper processing of both Android and Apple watches within a production environment.
