Refurbisher Cykero ranks 9th in FT1000 European list

German refurbisher Cykero has secured the 9th position in the Financial Times FT1000 ranking of Europe’s fastest-growing companies. The annual list, compiled by Statista and the Financial Times, ranks businesses based on their compound annual growth rate (CAGR) between 2020 and 2023. Founded in 2020, Cykero has quickly positioned itself as a leader in the refurbished electronics industry. The company is dedicated to reducing e-waste by offering high-quality, like-new refurbished devices to businesses across Europe. This milestone underscores Cykero’s commitment to sustainability and the circular economy.

Strong financial performance

Cykero has experienced remarkable growth, with revenue soaring from € 1.3 million in 2021, € 12.5 million in 2023 to € 27 million in 2024. The company has sold over 17,000 devices and maintains a 98% customer satisfaction rate. Its expansion reflects the increasing demand for sustainable tech solutions.

Strategic leadership appointments

To support its rapid growth, Cykero has recently strengthened its leadership team. Caroline Renouard has joined as Chief Financial Officer, while Bertrand Thoral has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer. These additions align with Cykero’s ambitions for further expansion and market leadership.

Expansion into Montpellier

At the end of 2024, Cykero opened a state-of-the-art refurbishment plant, Technocenter 4.0, in Montpellier, France. The facility focuses on automated and robotic refurbishment of electronic devices, reinforcing Cykero’s technological edge in the industry.
