Cyculus Services, Europe’s first independent, fully automated Device Processing-as-a-Service (DPaaS) provider, has entered a strategic partnership with Renew Kings, a UK-based specialist in mobile device polishing. The collaboration introduces a new in-house polishing service at Cyculus’ Göppingen, Germany, facility, strengthening its Total Care proposition for the European market.
Combining automation with cosmetic expertise
Cyculus has built a reputation for its state-of-the-art robotic processing platform, which delivers consistent, fast, and scalable grading and testing services for devices across Europe. With the addition of Renew Kings’ polishing expertise, Cyculus expands its capabilities to include cosmetic restoration for all major mobile device brands, offering customers a more complete lifecycle service.

Partnership driven by shared innovation
"This partnership is a natural extension of our mission to innovate, automate, and recirculate," said Fergal Donovan, CEO at Cyculus. "Renew Kings’ singular focus on polishing complements our automated grading system, allowing us to return devices in optimal condition, faster than ever."
Renew Kings has polished thousands of devices for major partners in the UK. Its proprietary polishing methods and strict quality controls are designed to restore devices to near-new appearance without risking their structural durability.
Faster turnaround and higher resale value
By integrating Renew Kings’ techniques into Cyculus’ automated workflow, the companies aim to establish a new standard for cosmetic excellence in the secondary device market. Each device processed in Göppingenwill be assessed for eligibility and the level of polishing required, streamlining operations and enhancing resale potential.
"We’re excited to bring our polishing expertise into the heart of Cyculus’ operations," said Chris Pattihis, CEO at Renew Kings. "Together, we’re setting a new benchmark for quality and speed in the secondary mobile device market."

Availability across Europe
The polishing service will launch in September and will be available to all Cyculus customers as part of the Total Care offering. European businesses that are not Cyculus customers will also be able to send devices directly to Renew Kings for polishing.
