Cyculus integrates ScreenTech powered by Apkudo for screen re-glassing

Cyculus Services, a German fully automated Device Processing as a Service (DPaaS) provider, is deepening its integration with Apkudo. This next step introduces a high-quality and commercially viable screen replacement solution to the Cyculus Total Care portfolio, further expanding the value it delivers across the mobile device lifecycle.

ScreenTech introduces OEM-grade repair

The solution is provided by ScreenTech, part of the powered by Apkudo ecosystem, which is recognised for advanced re-glassing technology. The powered by Apkudo ecosystem enables partner technologies to seamlessly share data with the Apkudo platform, unifying device and supply chain information into a single, transparent view, accessible through the Device Passport. The method restores mobile device displays to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards by carefully separating damaged glass from the LCD, OLED, or digitiser. This precision preserves original components and reassembles them with new glass, achieving OEM-grade quality at a lower cost.

A scalable solution for refurbishment

Powered by integrated software and specialized equipment, ScreenTech’s solution ensures consistency at scale, making it suitable for high-volume refurbishment operations. The commercial viability of the technology is positioned as a key advantage for industry stakeholders seeking to extend device life and enhance recovery value.

Industry leaders underline sustainability goals

“This partnership is a natural evolution of our mission to redefine device processing through automation, precision, and sustainability,” said Fergal Donovan, CEO and Co-Founder of Cyculus. “Adding ScreenTech’s leading re-glassing solution to our Total Care offering gives our customers a cost-effective, high-quality solution that extends device life and maximises recovery value.”

Josh Matthews, CEO and Co-Founder of Apkudo, added, “Cyculus continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence, bringing state-of-the-art services to market. Through this partnership, more devices will receive high-quality repair and reuse—advancing circularity, reducing e-waste, and driving meaningful value uplift across the industry.”

Launch scheduled for October

The new re-glassing service will be available from October, offering Cyculus customers an efficient and trusted solution for damaged screens, without the cost or waste of full replacement.
