CellnTell Distribution Inc and Stone Group have announced a strategic partnership designed according to the companies ‘to transform mobile technology solutions across North America’. The collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Sajid Butt and Shoaib Bajwa of CellnTell, alongside David Arredondo of Stone Group. The partnership combines CellnTell’s expansive distribution network with Stone Group’s refurbishment and repair expertise built over more than two decades.
Combining distribution and refurbishment expertise
CellnTell, founded in 2013 by Umar Warraich and Sajid Butt, has grown from a two-person operation to one of Canada’s largest wholesale distributors of mobile devices and consumer electronics. With headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario, the company supplies mobile phones, including new, used, and refurbished Apple iPhones and other brands, as well as tablets, laptops, accessories, and smart devices. Its focus is strictly B2B, serving resellers, sub-wholesalers, and retail chains across Canada and the USA.

Stone Group brings recognized refurbishment and repair capabilities to the table. The company is a certified Foxconn and Samsung Authorized Service Partner, offering trusted services that enhance device longevity and reliability. By aligning with CellnTell, Stone Group gains access to a wider North American market through CellnTell’s established wholesale channels.
Building value through sustainability
The partnership reflects the companies’ shared vision of building a more sustainable mobile ecosystem. By integrating Stone Group’s repair and refurbishment services into CellnTell’s distribution network, businesses across North America can benefit from solutions that combine quality, circular economy principles, and cost efficiency. This collaboration not only reduces electronic waste but also allows resellers to access premium refurbished devices that meet strict quality standards.
Positioning for growth in North America
Both companies see this partnership as a way to elevate standards within the secondary mobile market. Customers will gain access to high-quality devices supported by certified refurbishment while benefiting from the scale and reliability of CellnTell’s supply chain. Together, the firms are positioned to deliver value-added solutions that address the growing demand for sustainable and affordable technology.
The agreement also highlights the broader trend of strategic partnerships shaping the future of the wholesale and secondary mobile device market. With increasing demand for refurbished Apple iPhones, tablets, and other connected devices, collaborations that combine distribution power with refurbishment expertise are becoming vital to ensure consistent quality and supply.
