Breezy introduces online trade-in for Kazakhstan’s major retailers

Breezy, owned by distributor ASBIS, has launched an online trade-in solution for major Kazakh retailers, including Freedom Mobile, Technodom, and Sulpak. This allows customers to trade in old gadgets entirely online, eliminating the need for in-store visits or mailing devices. Customers can now enjoy instant discounts on new devices, making technology more accessible and affordable.

Previously, trade-in programs were only available in physical stores. By integrating this solution into e-commerce platforms, Breezy has created a seamless experience that simplifies the process for both retailers and customers. According to Andrii Kosar, CEO of Breezy, the solution is designed to promote sustainability by encouraging the reuse of electronics while enhancing convenience. Kosar noted that the company anticipates a surge in trade-in transactions during the first month of implementation.

Apple's trade-in toolkit

The process involves evaluating the device online, using Apple’s trade-in toolkit, where customers provide details and upload photos. Within minutes, they receive an instant trade-in value. If satisfied, customers can sign the contract digitally, and the discount is immediately applied at checkout. This streamlined approach reduces the final amount customers pay, making upgrades easier than ever.

International recognition

Breezy’s trade-in tool has been recognized internationally by eCommerce Fastlane for its seamless integration and user-friendly design. The publication praised its ability to create a natural shopping experience by embedding the widget directly into product pages. Retailers like Technodom have also expressed satisfaction with the process, highlighting its simplicity and effectiveness.

With the growing adoption of this service among retailers in Kazakhstan, Breezy’s solution is expected to become a standard in the country’s e-commerce sector, offering customers a more convenient and environmentally conscious way to upgrade their devices.
