Breezy expands device trade-ins across Azerbaijan through new MyShops partnership

As of October 2025, Breezy has expanded its device trade-in program to MyShops locations across Azerbaijan. The partnership unlocks access to more than 100 retail points nationwide, marking a new phase in Breezy’s continued growth in the region. For consumers, the rollout means device upgrades have become more accessible and more affordable, supporting growing demand for sustainable technology options.

MyShops strengthens its retail offering

MyShops is one of Azerbaijan’s best-established retailers for mobile electronics and home appliances. With more than twenty years of experience, the company holds authorized reseller status for Apple and Xiaomi and played a key role in the early import of Samsung, Huawei, Nokia, and Meizu devices into the country. Its large retail footprint positions MyShops as a strong partner for Breezy as the trade-in model accelerates in Azerbaijan.

How trade-ins work at MyShops

Customers visiting any participating MyShops store can bring in their used devices and instantly receive an appraisal. The evaluation is completed in-store by trained staff, who provide a trade-in quote within minutes. Once accepted, customers can immediately apply the value to the purchase of a new device. The program accepts smartphones, laptops, tablets and smartwatches. Depending on the condition of the device, the trade-in value can cover up to 99% of the price of a new purchase. The simplicity of the process has helped drive adoption among consumers looking for quick, transparent upgrade options.

Financial benefits and circular value

Every device collected through the Breezy Trade-In program undergoes full diagnostics, certified data wiping and professional refurbishment at Breezy facilities. Refurbished devices are then reintroduced into the market, supporting the circular economy and reducing electronic waste. This approach aligns with growing consumer interest in responsible consumption and affordable high-quality alternatives to new devices. A MyShops representative stated that the partnership underscores the retailer’s commitment to high service standards. They highlighted that enabling customers to exchange older products responsibly is an important step toward more conscious technology purchasing.

Statements from Breezy leadership

According to Ramil Mukhtarov, General Manager of Breezy in Azerbaijan, the collaboration aligns closely with Breezy’s strategy to expand regional access to trusted trade-in services. He emphasized that customers benefit from the ability to upgrade devices affordably while supporting sustainable lifecycle management.

Breezy’s expanding footprint

The availability of the service in more than 100 stores demonstrates Breezy’s ambition to grow its network and its partnerships with both major retailers and local electronics distributors in the region. The company expects to introduce additional solutions that will make device trade-ins even more convenient for consumers and valuable for retail partners in the coming years. Breezy, next to Foxway, NorthLadder and Clevercel, is one of the few companies that is using Apple trade-in toolkit.
