Trade-in platform Breezy has significantly expanded its device intake by including 10,000 Windows laptop models in its program. Users across Europe and several countries in Central Asia can now trade in laptops from major brands like Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo. Additional brands such as MSI, Gigabyte, Razer, Samsung, Microsoft, Honor and Huawei are expected to be included soon.
Trade-in now across more countries
The service is already active in Ukraine, Moldova and Kazakhstan, with upcoming launches in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Poland. Breezy's trade-in network now spans more than 5,000 stores. An online version of the laptop program will be introduced in the next quarter, allowing remote device evaluations.
AI-powered process requires no app
Breezy uses its AI-powered evaluation system, based on photographic assessments, to keep the trade-in process simple. No app installation or additional payment is required. The same method is already used in Breezy’s smartphone program and is familiar to retail staff within the partner network.
Program addresses enterprise and consumer needs
Individual users can trade in old laptops for immediate credit toward new purchases. Businesses, meanwhile, can use the program to retire unused devices and upgrade infrastructure, particularly ahead of Microsoft ending Windows 10 support in October 2025.
Environmental impact remains a key driver
According to ADEME, a reused laptop saves up to 154 kg of CO2 and 185.5 cubic meters of water. Breezy restores collected laptops at its own facilities, reducing the environmental burden linked to new device production. With over 253 million new laptops shipped in 2024, the scale of reuse could have major global climate benefits.
