Apple has added refurbished versions of the 11-inch and 13-inch M2 iPad Air to its refurbished online store in the United States. This marks the first time that customers in the U.S. can purchase these models at a discount since the M2 iPad Air launched in May 2024. The refurbished M2 iPad Air models are offered at around 15 % off compared to their original retail price. The 11-inch model with 128GB storage is available at € 433, down from € 507. The 13-inch base model with 128GB is now priced at €590 instead of € 692. These represent savings of around € 74 to € 102 depending on the configuration.
Previously added to UK store
Earlier in June, Apple introduced these refurbished iPads in its UK refurbished store. Their appearance in the U.S. marks a broader rollout of the discounted M2 iPad Air range.
M2 iPads are previous generation
These refurbished iPads represent the previous generation, as Apple replaced the M2 iPad Air with the M3 iPad Air earlier this year. The M2 models are no longer available new from Apple.
Apple-certified refurbishment process
Each refurbished Apple iPad is fitted with a new battery, a fresh outer shell, and a new USB-C cable. The devices come with Apple’s one-year warranty, and buyers may add AppleCare+ for extended coverage.
Stock changes frequently
Apple’s refurbished inventory is dynamic. Both cellular and Wi-Fi models are currently available in different capacities and colors, though stock varies and may sell out quickly.
