Alongside the extended range, Apple has upgraded the Bluetooth chipset and increased speaker volume by 50%, improving detectability in everyday use. Precise Finding is now also accessible directly from Apple Watch, expanding functional integration across Apple’s hardware ecosystem. The new AirTag enclosure contains 85% recycled plastic, all magnets use 100% recycled rare earth elements, and all Apple-designed printed circuit boards feature 100% recycled gold plating. Packaging is made entirely from recyclable fibre. The improved location accuracy and louder speaker increase the functional lifespan of AirTag units entering secondary channels.
