Apple expands Self Service Repair program to Canada

Apple has expanded its Self Service Repair program to Canada, giving consumers access to the same parts and tools used by Apple Authorized Service Providers. Genuine Apple parts can now be purchased directly through the Self Service Repair Store or via a Genuine Parts Distributor. Each part is engineered and tested to meet Apple’s quality and safety standards, ensuring reliable repairs. Consumers can also rent or buy professional-grade tools designed for frequent use.

Reference repair manuals before repair

Before carrying out a repair on an Apple iPhone, MacBook, or other Apple product, users are advised to consult the official repair manual for their device. Depending on the repair, post-repair software tools such as Repair Assistant or System Configuration may be required to fully complete the process.

Genuine Parts Distributors in Canada

In Canada, Apple parts can be purchased from MobileSentrix, a Genuine Parts Distributor also active in the United States. MobileSentrix may require account registration before placing an order. In Europe, MobileSentrix recently opened offices and warehouses in the UK and the Netherlands, while Dutch-based Mobileparts.shop (2Service) also supplies genuine Apple parts in Europe.

Self Service Repair widens availability

The expansion of the Self Service Repair program to Canada follows its launch in the United States and Europe. By opening the program to consumers, Apple provides more options for those wishing to repair their own Apple devices with genuine parts, aligning with growing demand for transparency and repair accessibility.
